Running in last weekend’s Brighton marathon, Telereal Trillium’s Gavin Brown finished the race in a very respectable 3 hours 43 minutes, placing him well inside the top 20 per cent of runners.
Gavin was running in aid of one of the company’s charity partners, Tomorrow’s People, a national employment charity which is helping to transform people’s lives through work. He managed to raise nearly £400, a figure which will be doubled by Telereal Trillium as part of its charity matching scheme.
Commenting after the event Gavin said, ‘I had a good race and I’m happy with my time - and the sponsorship money is still coming in! I’m doing the Edinburgh marathon in a few weeks’ time so hopefully the money will go up even further.’
Congratulations to Gavin from everyone at Telereal Trillium and Tomorrow’s People (it must have been a good race time as we note from the photo that he came in ahead of Superman). Congratulations also go to Stacey Farnell who unfortunately had to pull out of the race due to injury. Just a week earlier he had successfully completed the Paris marathon.
