Investing in the strategic land market
Telereal Trillium has secured planning consents for the redevelopment of over 250 sites throughout the UK and created an exceptional track record promoting land for development and enhancing the value of surplus sites.
We have acted as a principal, partner and advisor, selling sites from our own portfolio, as well as managing the promotion and disposal process on behalf of landowners, such as BT and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). Our commercial drive has created significant value add for both Telereal Trillium and its partners, distributed by way of profit share arrangements.
The scale of our planning and disposal activity has given us a significant presence in the residential land market. As a result, we have a clear understanding of the consented product favoured by house builders, enabling us to maximise value by obtaining implementable marketable planning consents. We have a nationwide network of market leading advisors and significant in-house resource which enable us to handle a wide spectrum of development schemes.
Our capabilities in this sector have been further enhanced by our acquisition in 2015, of Lands Improvement, the strategic land development company. Lands Improvement acquires greenfield and brownfield land, priming the sites for residential-led development by obtaining outline planning consents and delivering strategic site infrastructure.
New opportunities
Telereal Trillium seeks further investment in the strategic land market through the acquisition of new sites and involvement in joint venture arrangements.
We are particularly interested in unallocated greenfield and brownfield sites with a lot size in excess of £5m. We have substantial funds available for investment and have the expertise and resource to rapidly evaluate new opportunities.
