Case study: Bouquets & Beans
In May 2016, Telereal Trillium welcomed Bouquets & Beans, a newly formed Social Enterprise onto our supply chain.
Bouquets & Beans founder Abraham Habte-Michael is a former student of Tomorrow’s People’s young person’s employment programme ‘Working it Out’. Abraham decided he himself wanted to give back to the community and take a leap into the unknown by establishing his own business providing flowers to companies in London.
With the help of Tomorrow’s People and Telereal Trillium, who supported him through the set-up process, Bouquets & Beans now supplies flower displays to 18 organisations on a weekly basis, as well as supplies our corporate event flowers.
Abraham’s business operates from a flower stall on Kennington High Street allowing the general public access to his flowers, as well as selling freshly brewed coffee. The business has grown including taking on a new member of staff to assist with day-to-day operations.
In meeting with Abraham, he is extremely grateful to Telereal Trillium for giving him the opportunity and support he required to get Bouquets & Beans fully operational.
