Work gets underway on historic quayside apartment conversions

27 February 2017

T Manners & Sons Ltd, one of the region’s leading construction companies, and local estate agents Urban Base, are delighted to announce the start on site of one of the most exciting residential developments in Newcastle’s vibrant Quayside, in over a decade.

T Manners have started work on Prince's Buildings, Queen Street, converting the first floor of the landmark building to provide one, one-bedroom and nine, two-bedroom apartments for clients, London based property company Telereal Trillium.

‘Level One’, planned to be complete by Summer 2017, is being delivered by the same management team that won Housing Project of the Year 2016 at the Building & Engineer Awards recently.

Simon Manners, Joint Managing Director at T Manners said: “This is a wonderful project that brings life to the first floor of these historic buildings. We are delighted to once again be working with local consultants Harrow Consulting and to bring together the delivery team that were award winners at Knott’s flats last year.”

Jan Dale, Owner at Urban Base said: “Developers are showing a lot of confidence in our region’s property market and especially for new home schemes, using the Help To Buy as additional support where the buyer’s finances may need a little extra support.”

“From our two city offices in Newcastle and Durham, we provide a strong regional presence to promote the new homes being built.”

The apartments will be launched in February and ready to move into in summer 2017. To be one of the first to reserve an apartment at Level One, contact Urban Base on 08456 431 186.
