Telereal Trillium presents a cheque to Dementia UK for £13,357.50 following the successful completion of the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge undertaken by Telereal Trillium and Lands Improvement, part of the Telereal Trillium Group.
The Asset teams from Telereal Trillium and Lands Improvement combined their efforts on a sponsored walk to raise funds in support The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and Dementia UK, totalling over £25,000 which is being split between the two charities.
The Three Peaks Walk challenge took place on Thursday, 8 August 2019. Thirty members of the team hiked over 25-mile across the Yorkshire Three Peaks in 12 hours.
Rachel Marsh, Challenge Events Fundraising Manager at Dementia UK said: “Thank you so much for taking on the Yorkshire Peaks Challenge and raising an incredible £13,357.50 for Dementia UK. What a wonderful achievement. The money you’ve raised will give more families facing dementia the care and specialist dementia nurse to help them cope in even the toughest of times.”
