Telereal Trillium has been awarded the 2016 Payroll Giving Quality Mark - Gold for our commitment to good causes by encouraging and supporting employees to donate to charity.
This is the 11th consecutive year Telereal Trillium has received an award, a testament to the generosity of our staff and the company’s continuing efforts to promote payroll giving.
The award recognises and rewards businesses for making Payroll Giving available to staff, promoting it, growing participation rates and matching donations. Forty-four percent of employees used Telereal Trillium’s Charity Matching Scheme in 2015/16 – our highest ever engagement level. Through payroll giving, one-off donations and fundraisers, employees donated and raised £213,371 for 103 different UK registered charities including the company’s ‘matching’ donations.
Telereal Trillium has run a Give As You Earn (GAYE) payroll giving scheme since day one. The scheme gives all employees the opportunity to donate a fixed sum every month to a charity of choice, with the money taken from salary before tax is applied. The company then matches the donation up to a maximum of £2,500 per person, per annum. It is the most tax efficient and simple way to regularly support one or more favourite charities.
