Susan Cain, Head of Corporate Responsibility, to speak at Institute of Fundraising Payroll Giving and Corporate Special Interest Group (SIG) event, held at Resource for London, on 26 April 2016.
The event, ‘Breaking Down the Silos’, will bring together expert speakers from companies who are leading the way in payroll giving and corporate fundraising, providing best examples of effective joint working in the field. Key topics for discussion include the relationships between payroll giving and corporate fundraisers, and how corporate fundraisers can effectively employ payroll giving as a tool in new business pitches and account management.
Telereal Trillium’s Payroll Giving and Charity Matching scheme was created in 2001, offering employees the opportunity to fundraise for their preferred charities, donate through Give As You Earn, and encourage employees to volunteer, with the company matching £1 for £1, up to a maximum of £2,500 per person/per year. The scheme has grown significantly since it started over a decade ago, and continues to increasingly outperform year-on-year.
Susan will be giving an overview on why payroll giving was introduced to Telereal Trillium, how it is promoted within the business, why the charity matching scheme was introduced, and how it fits into Telereal Trillium’s overall business objectives.
Other organisations speaking at the event include Marie Curie and JTI.
