Telereal Trillium has secured a resolution to grant outline planning consent for a residential redevelopment with up to 156 dwellings at Heyhouses Lane, Lytham St. Annes in Lancashire.
The former Department for Work and Pensions site comprises 10 acres of land. The existing buildings provide 97,000 sq ft of floor space and are occupied by Hewlett Packard under lease to March 2018.
The site is on brownfield land, in a suitable and sustainable location of a popular residential area of St Annes. It has good access to local schools, shops and community facilities, and it is in close proximity to public transport. The application follows the on-going redevelopment of Phase 1, comprising a new Booths food store, Water’s Edge public house, and a range of 162 new homes that are under construction.
Mark Kelly, disposals and development director at Telereal Trillium said: “We are delighted to have secured outline planning consent, adding flexibility for future use of the site. We will be considering various development opportunities following the vacation of HP in March 2018.”
Phase 1 of the wider scheme is being developed out by Worthington Properties and Morris Homes.
